Can anyone realistically see Isiah actually developing FIU into a decent basketball program? There are so many questions and few little answers. I doubt he's actually fully thought out how hard it is to be a college coach. Has he even come up with a game plan? Regardless, after today, I won't give it another thought.

What a dumbass...I used to like him as a player. It will be one of those things like seeing your neighbor's kid's piano recital when it is so horrible you just feel embarrassed for everyone who saw it.

On second thought, I will actually enjoy watching him fail.

Interesting...

Q: Did Cal enjoy any financial benefit from appearing in the NCAA Tournament?

A: Yes, but the Bears have to share the benefits with the rest of the Pac-10, which pools money earned by its teams in the NCAA Tournament. Each game a Pac-10 team plays in the NCAAs (until the Final Four) earns a "unit." Units are added up and are rewarded annually on a six-year cycle. This year, for instance, the Pac-10 earned $206,000 each for 65 units, accumulated over the past six seasons. Added up, it equals $13.39 million. Divide that by 10 teams, and each Pac-10 school, including Cal, earned $1.339 million. The money comes from the NCAA and its TV package with CBS. The per-unit payout increases approximately 8 percent each year.

you mean same old tim floyd . . . dude needs to learn that the only school that cheats in LA is UCLA. i am glad that piece of trash is gone from USC, i would rather lose than cheat.

i have faith that USC will land a good coach and continue to develop our basketball program.

Too bad about Floyd...he was moving the program nicely. Should be interesting to see who they hire.

I think you seriously believe your own bs, hiney...weird.

they need to fill the new basketball arena, therefore they have to go after a good coach. i don't put any of the blame of USC (for what floyd did), as if it was common knowledge floyd wouldn't have had an offer from UofA.

Eric B --

do i really need to site the number of violations UCLA has had over the past 15 - 20 years? if UCLA actually mattered nationally, more people would be aware of their players short commings.

if you are going to hammer on bush for being a scumbag, have at it . . . but there is no way you can put that on pete or USC. how can a coach be responsible for what a player does outside of the university? so far as i know, not one drop of evidence says that USC knew anything about bush taking money, nor is there anything that says USC didn't have proper internal controls in place.

No, but that's not relevant since your point is that "USC doesn't cheat", which as we've seen, is bullshit.

if you are going to hammer on bush for being a scumbag, have at it . . .

Done

O Rly?

IF USC had the proper controls in place, they would have caught the Bush and Mayo situations in the first place. It appears your defense then is that Mike Garrett's department is incompetent. Which other than the lucky hiring of Pete Carroll, you're actually right. Carry on...
