Cannot count games that were never played in the "games played".

I agree, but not sure what the official team ruling will be.

Hoping for a clean bill of health more than anything over the next few days. Would love to have Morgan, Harper, Yearwood, and Edelman available next week.

Only thing I know for sure right now is that Burke should play over Barlow. He had more solid touches in the second half tonight than Barlow takes in a month.

Did Reynoso ever reappear for Minnesota?

It will also be game #100 for Mr. Barlow...

Burke if fit should start for sure

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

I smell another slow start to a season trying to make the Red Bull 4222 happen, and a few minutes from Barlow to really underline the hole of front office mediocrity the team is still working its way out from.

RED. BULL. OUT.

Struber said after the game that he was impressed with Burke and that more game time is coming. Fingers crossed!

Too early to switch formations. Just gotta be more decisive in the attacking third

----burke---manoel
----luqui---Morgan
-----amaya--ccj
Tolkin--nealis--reyes--harper
---------coronel

Wont happen, but Id love to see:

Morgan Dante Harper

Luq

Amaya Yearwood

Tolkin Nealis Reyes Duncan

Colonel

The deep CMs could be any combo of Amaya, Yearwood, CCJ, or Edelman. Ill never understand why our most successful seasons since weve gone the high press route have all been in the 4-2-3-1 or 4-2-1-3 with a real #10 and they Never seem to want to play that formation.

Its fine to run it mostly back but with Burke starting
Vanzeir helpfully gets ~25
Duncan Harper combo the right
Luq or Morgan 2nd half in left

Too long ball heavy to feature a formation with 1 striker that is 5 9 at best. If the team was brave enough to play on the ground then maybe.

Struber keeps lamenting the team trying to play too rushed/quick in certain situations but it hasnt changed his entire tenure.

We dont have to play long balls. I think this is just the style Struber is comfortable with. Ill hold out on judging this system until we see Dante integrated into the starting lineup for a few games, but if we still arent scoring at that point we need to start looking at Struber. I know theyve gotten some good breaks, but the guy that Struber replaced has gotten 6 goals in two games from his squad.

No disagreement there. I have thought Struber has been sold a little short with his squad in the first two seasons, but between continuity and prominent attacking additions the onus falls completely on him to get this right.
