He'll certainly get chances courtesy of his price tag if nothing else. What he'll do with them is a different question.

He got none this year, so why would that change?

hope it's a translation error, not a good look, imo.

Jorgen$en, indeed.

I would want every ambitious kid to say that they hope and expect to play for the first team.   I didn't get any sense of "or else I quit" or blaming anyone.

I know most of the comments about Jorgensen on here are pretty damning, and I've never seen him play except for the couple of times he came on for the first team.  But last year he was 18 when he moved to a new country, on a new continent, and scored roughly one goal every two games (1 goal every 164 minutes, or something like that).  Those numbers aren't terrible.  Given his age and considering the circumstances, one can at least hope that he's going to be much improved this year.   The team's not exactly stacked at striker, so unless they sign a higher profile guy, he'll get a chance to get minutes.  Barlow's not a lock as the backup, White's not a lock as the # 1, and maybe Armas will use 2 strikers more often this year.

Forget about the transfer fee, that's water under the bridge.  Let's see what he can do on the field this year.

Jørgensen ... - They have indicated that I will start on par with the others next season. ... I don't want to play any more matches on the second team

I would expect that everyone will get a chance in the pre-season. He needs to start well and stay at that level. Watching him with RB2 was exasperating. Sure, he scored some, but missed more and was not always part of a cohesive unit. He seemed like the coach s son, pushed onto the field over better players.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

It's just the guy doesn't pass the eye test, I watched every single rb2 match last year and last few seasons.

His overall play is just abysmal, he's not a great dribbler nor passer.

Yes he's fast but doesn't make great runs, and if he did score normally if was his 3rd or 4th absolute clear chance.

I don't like being negative with literally any of our players but I just can't see this getting better. I guess if he takes his first few chances and just rides the confidence he could turn it around but nothing as of now shows this will happen.

I still say that RB may have signed the wrong MJ!

Fair enough
Sadly there are plenty of young players or high priced imports who dont work.
3/4 with Kaku CCJ and J$ Sims
Not defending as would have loved 2 more $1M players last year or Sims much sooner .
Still doesnt excuse RBG lack of $, support and Hamlett ability to get it done

He got none this year, so why would that change?

He played in several games early on (yes, mostly off the bench). Some more time with the first team, improvement, desire to make the transfer come good, etc. Bet he starts at least 5 games, especially if we dont sign anyone up top.
