I finally watched qualifying and the race last night. Wow. I sure hope Massa is okay. What a strange accident. They were saying the spring hit him with 1600 ft-lbs of pressure. I'm amazed that he is alive.

It seems like his season is over, so I wonder who Ferrari will put in his car for the rest of the season.

Overall, a very interesting race. The increase in pace the McLaren's showed this weekend is impressive. I'm just wondering why Brawn is having such problems. Is the rest of the field just catching up, or are they not as strong in development as other teams?

There is a 4 week break before Valencia. I guess we will see what happens then.

Schu comes in for Massa

That's awesome. I'm sure it will help ticket sales and TV ratings - funny that Hungary was Fox's last televised race, it goes back to SpeedTV now.

Do you guys think Schumi still has the form he had back in his heyday? I think F1 has surpassed him

Well current odds show him as 14/1 to win and 3/1 podium. He hasn't driven the new car (reduced downforce and slicks), so it is going to take some time for him to get used to the car. I don't think he will win, but this certainly will add a bit of excitement to the race. Plus I'm sure all of the young guys (Vettel, Hamilton, etc.) will be looking to prove themselves against him.

I hope Schumi does well, just because I am a Ferrari fan, but truthfully, I'd prefer to see Massa out there.

Massa looks messed up.

He's back in Brazil and resting:

Rubens!

Entertaining race. After the first set of stops, it seemed like it was obvious that Rubens was going to win.

Luca Badoer (filling in for Massa) was an embarrassment for Ferrari. With Kimi finishing 3rd, there's no reason Luca should have been 2-3 seconds off the pace.

Rubens was given that race on a plate and took it. Hamilton has fallen off significantly since last year. The pit incident has shown how much of as a team McLaren has gone down. 18 pts off the lead for Rubens, I think Button has it all but secured.
