At least this is a single elimination tournament. Not a group stage like the Superliga.

But still MLS has to do a better job of scheduling out these games and expanding rosters next year, since the tournament will be expanded.

This might be an all Mexican final if the galaxy lose tonight and they are already down 1-0 a few mins in and don't even have most of their starters in(which makes sense cause this is pointless and sandwiched in between two big MLS games for them) They also seem absolutely outnumbered fan wise in their own stadium. Winner plays Tigres who beat America in PKs.

Can hear the puto chant clear as day during this galaxy game as well.

With a draw or a New England draw or loss, we qualify for the 2020 Leagues Cup (unless we win the MLS Cup in which case we go to CONCACAF Champions League).

Top 4 from each conference, outside of those in CCL qualify.

NYCFC qualified by being the top Eastern Conference team, Atlanta won the US Open Cup.

1. Union
2. DC
3. RBNY
4. TFC

5. Revs

qualify for the 2020 Leagues Cup

Do we want to?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Do we want to?

You don't want a midweek game scheduled in between 2 important league matches that will not be included with season tickets with 10,000 Chivas fans at the stadium to try and win a trophy that was created last year for an invitational money grab tournament?

NYCFC qualified by being the top Eastern Conference team

They haven't won the conference yet. If nycfc loses in new England and Philly wins in Columbus and Philly bears nycfc at home on the last day, Philly would win the conference and advance on the tie breaker for having more wins.

I know it's a long shot but so was us getting by Atlanta last year for the shield.

Can we pass on any chance to win a cup?

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Could we send these games to Montclair State and keep the Open Cup?
