Our 2M signing is languishing behind two draft picks...
He prove himself at some point, but that 2M could have been used elsewhere...

You assume that we were going to get 2M to spend on a player who didn't openly say that he was coming here to move to Leipzig.
If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

How about a 1 season rental of an MLS journeyman CB tonight? Could have been useful. There would have been plenty of leftover cash too...

Win
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Team is terrible at reading the final pass. The ball must have crossed in front of the NC keeper a couple dozen times without a Red Bulls player on the end of it. Jorgensen does not gel with these guys at all.
Down 2-0 but pretty dominate. NCFC saw red in the 60th and Loebe and Elney on for Yanes and Rito in the 66th. Lema has been close a couple times. Dave Sarachan did a great job coaching against our style of play tonight.
EDIT: Jared Stroud scores to make it 2-1 in the 77th. Also, Jorgensen is terrible and Mines is as durable as a 90 year old. Sal Esposito makes his pro debut.
Final 2-1.
Jorgensen just hasn't clicked with this club. His runs are horrific. He is often running away from the front of the goal. Our backups, Elney and Amarildo, are not good enough for USL and rarely are in a position to even touch the ball.
Surprised how much Elney has dropped since his time with the US U20s.
We spent $$$$ on Jorgensen , what a waste and we have starters on Red Bulls-big club making less than $100k

Bullshit, if you are signed as a freaking DP and you are a Tage Thompson of soccer level of suck thats unacceptable and everyone behind this decision need to be fired straight into the sun. Remember: he was signed with the idea of Leipzig or Salzburg reaping the rewards because we don't mean shit to the Austrian slumlords.

I am more frustrated that we didn't make a move to help our roster immediately now rather than try to build someone up for the future. Hope we can get that accomplished during the summer window.
However hope he continues to develop at RB2 and eventually works his way up here. If he becomes the heir apparent to BWP no one will give a shit if he sucked the first year he was here. I am still optimistic that RB scouting is not the shittiest.

What actually makes this move look worst is the fact that Brian White is starting to look like a longterm solution.

I dont think Jørgensen is built to play in a single striker formation. Ideally, if he comes good, you run a 2 ST formation with White and one of Barlow/Jørgensen to run off of Whites knockdowns and holdup play.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Armas try a 2 striker formation especially with current injuries and issues creating goal scoring opportunities. Although I think at this point in time I'd prefer to see White and Barlow in those positions (assuming BWP is still out).
