Excellent! We needed to build depth there and this kid obviously stood out in training. He has the size we need.

It always seems that the guys we draft never make an impact really, and are off the team in a couple years. Hopefully this kid can buck that trend.

Definitely, because his older brother played under Gio for the Cosmos as well.

great news. 

Hope he develops nicely as he has a clear path to get first team minutes this summer as 1-2 CB might be out with Gold Cup.  much more incentive then Excobar had last year to play.

Also, if he develops into top talent that will really show NYRB is great place for CB development.
