This is the next generations rivalry. Philly has something DC doesn't. Fans, a home, and stability. A lot of us remember when we were in the same boat as DC, big old stadium 1/10th full, there were fewer teams back in the day obviously so we played them over and over again, but going forward, the newer fans will definitely feel a stronger hate towards Philly.
A lot of truth in statement.
And Spliff's point about being the envy of MLS is spot on. We aren't well received anywhere... people don't like NY. As Faux would say... Rich People's Problems.
"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. "There's so much you can accomplish in the soccer world, and right now I'm focused on having a good season with the Red Bulls. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams

On the other hand, I hate Phailadelphia because they are shit club with no history. You could say what you want about Metro not winning a cup but atleast we were around in 96. We birthed Tim Howard, Jozy, Michael Bradley, Gavin.

Philly is a hole, I hate going there, I hate people from there, and i'm grateful the Jersey Turnpike lets me bypass the whole fucking mess on my way to better places.

Philly is one of the few things that the rivaly extends beyond the sports thing. I hate teams from DC, but at least DC can be a fun place visit once in a while.

I'm putting that in my signature haha!
