The fact that he has been out of contract all summer is not encouraging and pretty fishy considering he supposedly signed a mutli-year deal.

Maybe in his contract it was stipulated that the contract would be honored as long as they didn't get relegated. Now they're in the 2nd level, so maybe he got released.

Yeah. That is entirely possible but you would think if he was good, another team in Ukraine would have snapped him up quick. It is just rare for good players to remain out of contract for two months. It is also not encouraging that Lyon did not even get any transfer fee for him when he reportedly was under contract with the until 2022.

But lets ignore those troubling facts and hype him up before he gets here. Par for the course.

Ive found that being overly cautious and well prepared for disaster has paid dividends.Dont work yourself into a shoot about a 5th CB brother. Long, Nealis, Reyes, maybe Monzon will be getting the bulk of the minutes.

If Long doesnt rebound from his injury and Reyes continues to do dumb shit thats two down.
And while I like Nealis I do think we are over rating him given the shit storm at CB.
So that leaves us withunproven dumpster dives?
No thanks. Do better Red Bull.

The problem is that we seem to be acquiring a lot of centerbacks who would be 5th on the depth chart for a halfway decent team.

In MLS? Not sure I agree. Long, Nealis, and Reyes is a good corps, remains to be seen what Monzon, and Drame provide if signed.
Roster constraints make teams top heavy, you arent going to find a lot of great defensive depth around this league even from the top teams. RBNYs biggest issue this season has been injuries concentrated at a key position. Not that there arent other problems further up the field, of course.

Hope it's a short term deal to see if he can actually cut it since it.
If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Same approach as we had to midfield - throw a ton of shit against the wall and hope something sticks. Start the year with Amaya, Harper, Diarra, Yearwood, Omir, Davis, Valot, CCJ, Clark, Royer, Estrella, and Wiki.... and somehow Duncan and Tolkin are the starters and we still have a gaping hole at the top of the diamond.
