No idea who the guy is, but his resume reflects a NYRBII guy.
Hopefully a diamond in the rough, but so frustrating that they use first team roster spots on guys with limited experience. It's not like MLS Next Pro has salary caps, so why not sign him there for the year, see how he performs then move him up?

Shows that we aren't serious about getting veteran, reliable guys that we need at this time.

Im sympathetic to the injuries/suspensions but Strubers system looks like this regardless of who is on the field. Failing because the team lacks the quality is different than failing because the system hasnt evolved in 3 seasons.

The ceiling is probably what the team did last season and it still took wonder goals rather than repeatable scoring chances.

Off the bench.  Burke started 8 games for Philly last season, he already has 6 this season.

It's like a middle reliever in baseball who can throw 101 mph for 20 pitches, but bombs as a starter because that effort is unsustainable.

Burke is best used as a spot starter, primarily coming on as a high-effort sub after the 60th minute.  That's what he has always been.  He's being misused.

Should let Elias start a damn match already. Had no issue doing it last season and they spent money on his permanent signing. Relegating him to sub duty behind Barlow is dumb.

Well if the club was waiting for a reason to sack him 2 pts in 3 matches vs. two Western conference opponents at home and the worst team in the East away should be enough. If hes not sacked this week, he may never be.

The standards at RBNY are so unbelievably poor. There is no one to hold MdG, Hamlett, and now Struber accountable for their poor job performance. Its really deflating stuff as a long term fan to know that winning is not a priority and there is nothing that will change in the short or long term.

He is changing up tactics a bit but the game plan is pretty much the same every game. Blegh.

Prior to the two home matches against historically poor Western conference opponents I thought 3-4 points was the minimum needed for Struber to continue.

2 listless home draws + the debacle of last Saturday should be enough to send him out the door tomorrow. Wont happen, but there has never been a more apropos time to make a move.

The XG is inflated bc of the number of shots. A better stat would be where rank in quality scoring chances. Im not saying wed be last.

I cant imagine there are people that do. Especially when you consider the different iteration of teams under Marsch during the development of the high press system. Those teams played beautiful attacking soccer and then the high press was beautiful in its own way.

Every home match is generally a repeat of the previous for at least the past 1+ seasons. Teams know exactly how to get their desired result.

My 2 cents is he needs to never play for us again and we need to figure out how we can get another DP9.
