Not a fan of this at all. You should face every team one time...

My bet is owners don't wanna pay for that kind of travel and they'll keep the schedule unbalanced towards your conference even at 32.

More likely, but the steadily-larger franchise fees paid by new owners are hard to say no to.

I think its just a temp thing for them being in the West, and they'll be in the east or (southeast if we go to 4 conferences) soon enough.

This makes sense: the next 3 teams to join will be Austin, Sacramento and St. Louis, so they can put St. Louis in the East and put Nashville back in.  (Or maybe Minnesota goes into the East so St. Louis can have a rivalry with KC...)

I wonder if they want to keep Nashville and Columbus in different conferences since they have the same color scheme.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Should be on at least 6 points from those matches.

Add in this is the first year in a while we don't have CCL I expect best XI in each of those.

With our current roster, we will be lucky to get 1 point.

We should get 3 points from Cincy (keyword should).  Not expecting anything out of the other two.

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

As things stand I'd be happy with 4. Two away games against teams who finished higher in the western conference than we did in the east, that's a tough little road trip to start with.

We lost the two best team leadership guys in terms of BWP and Robles.

Our coach took a record setting team and drove that bus off a cliff.

Taxi is unhappy. Murillo is unhappy. Long probably still wants a move. Sims doesnt appear to be returning. How is Kakus injury? And we havent made a single move yet outside of a backup GK.

What about our current situation says 6 points from those first three games?

Sheer optimism?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I'm always a fan of starting against a beatable team so I'm happy about it being Cinci.

The roster is everything though and this year means a lot of change.  Still have to see what we end up with.
