Need to figure out a long-term plan for BWP's replacement post-2019.

I would rather pickup a young CB somewhere than invest anymore time or money in Collin. If Collin is a backup CB and is called on we all know whats going to happen. Its going to be a red card and a loss. I would rather roll the dice with a few younger options and see if one sticks. I would have no problem with Collin joining the staff though. In his prime he was a very good defender who played hard.

Bobby Wood!

Not sure if serious?

No on is EVER going to replace BWP but Wood is 25 and works his ass off. Also, I dont believe hes on the allocation list so we could just go out and grab him I think.

Im totally behind this move.

Need to sign new defenders if anyone in the current backline leaves. Need to figure out a long-term plan for BWP's replacement post-2019.

Where'd this crazy idea that BWP will stop scoring ~20 goals per season by 2020 come from? That man will be on the 2030 All-Star team.

That is why you have Escobar and Nadam

Rzatkowski would be useful next year to replace Adams.

I'd be surprised to see Escobar around next year, a guy vying for a national team spot will want to play and he doesn't seem like he's on the brink of more minutes.

RZAs situation is weird because Austria owes him his salary regardless of where he plays. He or they may want him in MLS where hell get minutes after Adams goes to Europe.

Muhamed Keita  F $324,999.96  $367,291.71

Are we still paying him almost 400k!!!

For me next year we should;

Try and keep Rza, maybe not at 900k but if he wants to stay try to find a way to make it work.

Collin gone

Rivas gone

Redding gone

Thats about 1.1 million to spread around giving Parker, Long, Murillo and maybe even Taxi pay bumps.

Add in Adams salary is sadly most likely free and if we really are still paying Keita that's closer to 1.5 million we can spread around for those 4.

Maybe even some of that Gam/Tam/Slam money for them. I just realllllly hope we keep all three, I'd even axe Ivan and give them his money. I loved what I saw from Valot and think we can get by with Muyl / Valot / DE7  at RW in our system.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

The team will probably stay young and inexpensive for the foreseeable future because not only has the organization invested heavily in player development but they've also obtained a well-deserved reputation for actually giving homegrown and developed players real minutes and experience. Players want to play for the team because they know they will have a real shot at the big time by being a part of this organization.

Players want to get paid!
Show them the money!
$100K minimum for anyone on the top 30!
Max for top 11 in minutes, or anyone playing 75% of League minutes.
