Losing vs LA makes this a must win game just like last Weds(or at very least a must not lose game). There will be fewer excuses now. The team will have one full week of training as a unit and TFC will be comming off a midweek game vs. Cruz Azul IIRC in the Super Liga.

Maintain a strangle hold on 2nd place and keep Columbus within striking distance.

I say start the same line up as we did vs LA. Give this unit more time to click

5 year plan

Disappointing loss last night....whatever.

TFC is undefeated at home. So, i don't expect to win this match. A tie seems fit.
Marquez and Henry still have not found comfort in MLS. They MUST figure it out on 8/21.

My Lineup:

------------------Angel--------------------

---Henry-------Lindpere----------Kandi---

-----------Tchani------Marquez-------------

Borman----Ream---Mendes----Albright

-------------Bouna Time-----------------

PREDICTION: We need better crosses from the wings. We need to SHOOOOOT!!! way too many passes in the final third. I think TFC should beat us up there. NOT SO FAST MY FIREND!!! a late goal by the one and only Lindpere earns NY a point!!! 1-1

TFC hasn't lost at home in a LONG time.

They're due.

2-1 Metro.

 This becomes one of the most important matches of our season. A draw at a minimum, but really we need the 3 (which we all know is a very difficult task)

Considering we still have to travel to LA, Rio Tinto and Philly (sure they suck, but that doesn't matter) we are in need of every point we can pick up.

Also have to travel to Dallas whom have lost only 2 games all season and are now ahead of us in the overall.

As good a time as any for Angel to break out of his "Faria-like" slump and score 3 or 4 goals.

you have to learn to schedule your life around the MLS schedule

Now it's the RedBulls fans. they may be even louder than the DC guys who, for reasons beyond imagining, had 50 seats saved for them up front.

Philadelphia: I love you guys, really, but you're getting schooled.

The noise in here is deafening.

Looking at the standings I think the home game against San Jose is just as crucial.

Any result other than a heavy defeat at Toronto wouldn't be the end of the world. It may be just as scrappy a game as Wednesday was, so could go either way.

San Jose though, would be a good one to win and just consolidate - we'd still be up in the pack and they'd be that bit more cut loose from the play off spots.

Actually Toronto is crucial because the top 2 in the east are guranteed playoff spots. 3rd place puts you in a scrap with teams from both confrences. Chicago has 4 games in hand so expect a run from them as well
