A Route One system that has Long and Tarek launching balls to Brian White?

Avoiding most of our players touching the ball as much as possible? You might be onto something here...

The problem isn't the "system." Salzburg, Leipzig, Liverpool, and lots of other teams have had success with pressing. And pressing also isn't a one-size-fits-all deal. A different coach who follows the philosophy can offer new ideas that still fit a pressing system.

I can't think of a single other philosophy that would make this group competent. Tiki taka? Fuck no. A Route One system that has Long and Tarek launching balls to Brian White? A counter-attack system that has us bunker down and then rely on an individual to create offense on the counter by himself?

We know its not cross to small forwards against large center backs so we can cross that off the list

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

We need talent and difference makers. I don't think we have either.

Currently we're at B-/C+. Since we have an int'l slot available (plus a DP slot), they get one more guy, Grade'll change.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

Thelwells at the wheel. Ill take action over inaction even if it doesnt work out.

You miss 100% of the shots you dont take

None of these are bad, but if this is all they do... it's not enough.

How about if Armas is cut loose before the New Year? That might be enough for me.

A lot depends on the quality of Tetteh and Yearwood. If theyre not the answers up top and in the middle, then firing Armas is just another step in the right direction, but still not enough.

Im hoping Armas only gets 2-3 games. If we crap the bed against City & the Union, he should be gone before the team bus hits the road for NE.

If the entire team continues to look like trash you cant really evaluate Yearwood and Tetteh properly.

If you keep adding more and more from outside the club and the team doesnt look any better theres only one more question to ask.
