1. Jesse Marsch — New York Red Bulls
It’s easy to argue for some of the names other than Marsch at number one, but his system with the Red Bulls has become iconic. The club doesn’t overspend on players, and Marsch manages to get the most out of his Homegrowns and other young squad members.
2. Gerardo “Tata” Martino — Atlanta United
3. Bob Bradley — Los Angeles FC
4. Peter Vermes — Sporting KC
5. Gregg Berhalter — Columbus Crew

.........
23. Ben Olsen — D.C. United
Olsen’s value to D.C. as both a player and manager cannot go unstated, but his struggles in the latter department have been mounting for years now. Outside of an Open Cup win in 2013, Olsen has been quite underwhelming given the team’s history.

I like Jesse and I think he should eventually be the USMNT coach, but this is crazy recency bias.https://soccer.nbcsp...t-mls-managers/

If Jesse cant learn to break down the bunker, he shouldnt be doing anything, let alone going to USMNT or Europe.

Trainer? Is he going to be the team physio or something? Presuming that is just a bad translation.RB Leipzig could announce New York Red Bulls head coach Jesse Marsch as their new trainer when MLS takes a break between June 14 and June 24, according to Bild. #RBL #RBNY #MLS

The German term for manager/head coach is trainer. Check the opening line on this German Wiki article: https://de.wikipedia...i/Peter_Stöger

OK that makes sense. It would be hilarious if he got a Bundisliga job while there are numerous American coaches who have frankly accomplished far more who wouldn't be considered for the HC position in any league in Europe except like the Bulgarian 4th division.
