Tampa Bay Anarchy?

Names change, owners come and go, but Metro never dies.

I think the toughest competition in the playoffs will be Toronto or Montreal.

Playoffs are stupid in soccer and I don't care if that hurts your feelings.

Order of preference for next round potentials would be DC, Toronto, then NE. DC and Toronto should be fine over a home and away but NE feels dicey, especially if they gain steam in the knock out game.

Steve Cangialosi was completely wrong.. NY doesn't play Toronto or Montreal.. They're not even in the same bracket

He was not. We play the lowest seed remaining. If Toronto wins, we play Toronto. If Montreal wins, we play Scum-Revs winner.

I would fear NE most because we have a tough time winning there. But, we recently have won there and just broke a 10 year curse in Chicago - good confidence boost. Montreal is way better with Drogba, but we can contain them. Toronto should be the best team we could face, but we can contain Gio and win. DC is scum and never under-estimate your rival, but they are on the downslide. Crew would be interesting.

they all seem like tough match ups.. But that the playoffs I guess! Can't play NYCFC every week after all.

My preference would be the Scum, for multiple reasons, but I will be content with whatever the match up may be. I'm just counting down the seconds until Sunday and am ready to get this show rolling.

Agreed.  I just think we match up really well against those two and they don;t have Drogba or Giovinco.  DC we crush in the midfield and Columbus's system plays right into the high press.

Hoping for DC for two primary reasons: I live here and they suck.

DC Of course- but the scum won't beat NE, so the most likely scenario is Montreal, we don't have o deal w Giovinco but get Drogba instead, the lesser of two evils

I think Montreal is the one team we can't play.  We'll get the worst seed left after the play-in round and Montreal is seeded 3.
