Only 20% of NJ CV deaths have been <65:

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

And how many of the rest were front line type people, or people with other underlying conditions?     Unfortunately, even if we learn all that and plan for next time with that knowledge, it doesn't mean the next pandemic will behave at all like this one.

I have read that a lot of nursing home staff
contracted CV, probably in the workplace, but
I think their fatality rate was much lower.

or people with other underlying conditions?

That may overlap heavily with the elderly.

MLS related, but Alexander Katai, newly acquired by LAG, is in some trouble.

He gone.

NJ CV death total passes 12,000:
https://www.nj.com/c...es-to-slow.html
A total of 163,336 have tested positive.
180K would be 2% of NJ, 1 in 50.

IMO he should say something about this.

Edit: Apparently he has. Good.

Obviously reprehensible views by his wife, but what more could Katai do? He apologized almost immediately and said he disagrees with his wife's views (whether true or not is a separate subject).

Thinking about it, looks like a mutual decision where Katai figured he (and his wife) would never get past this, right? And sure, LA were happy to get rid of him as well.

I think they're just trying to hire his wife for fan relations.
