#1419359 Elias Manoel on loan

Even before those goals, he was clearly the best striker on the team (mainly due to how bad Klimala and Barlow are). Now, its not a debate. That last goal he scored is what you want from your striker. A little hold up, a turn, and a rocket from outside the 18. Something Klimala and Barlow never do, or even attempt

Why did RB ever sell the stadium?

So Sportico released one of those "club evalation" reports today. To no surprise, we are in the bottom half of the league. 18th out of 28. When Red Bull bought the club and built RBA, we were probably the #1 most valuable (or at least top 3 in the league). We are now behind brand new clubs like Charlotte and Austin FC. And we are way lower than our homeless neighbors who are literally renting out our stadium for half the games. Its almost hard to fathom how that is possible. Richest owners in the league, biggest market in the league, one of the nicests stadiums in the league, and yet our club is worth less than most others. Beating a dead horse I know, but its really incredible to see such a demise.

Red Bull FO must be estatic about this result. Keeps us in the playoff hunt so we can "hope for luck". To top it off, they got DJ Alex Sensation to instagram a pic in a Red Bulls kit. What a day!!!

There was a "Klein Out" banner at the Galaxy game last night. Small, but they showed it on the ESPN broadcast. Would love to see something similar from our fans....aim it at Red Bull, Hamlett, deGrandpre, anyone really. Something to show that the current state of the club is unnacceptable. The "Not good enough" sign was....well, not goood enough

Yea...people always use his xG rate as if he's just unlucky...na, big enough sample size. He underperforms his xG bc his finishing sucks

A tifo of a missing de Grandpre is a good idea, except the fact that he would probably never see it.

The transfer window opened a full 6 weeks ago and this guy is still not ready. Pathetic? Yes. Surprised? Not one bit. This is not a one-off. This is repetitive action by the FO. Sign a player at the last minute, he takes a lomg time to integreate into the squad, and before you know it we are eliminated from playoffs. Wash, rinse and repeat.

Nah
If u dont like stule thats one thing but 3 shields and fin

The shield teams were verrrrry enjoyable to watch.  Struber-ball is the most boring thing in the world, even when we are winning and "dominating" teams. Would it be more exciting with more talented players? Guess we will never know!!!

Thanks. Its genuinely hard to care about the success of a club when the club itself doesnt even seem to care...

We really shouldn't be comparing ourselves to "most other MLS clubs" though. We are in the NY market with a super rich owner. We are not Minnesota or RSL. We could attract and afford players that those clubs never could...but we choose not to.

Idk i just dont understand how the current sporting method makes sense for Red Bull. Wouldnt it be beneficial to the Red Bull brand if they had the best/biggest/most popular team in the league? And had well known stars come here and rep Red Bull? Wouldn't that be beneficial to the brand?

Heres the sad truth. The smurfs are gonna get a huge bump in the next few years. Their new stadium will probably be open just in time for the 2026 world cup hype, and you can bet they will be making some huge signings to go with it. If we get new onwership by then, we could have the same type of boost and compete with them on/off the field. If RB doesnt sell and we continue this current path, we are going to very quickly get left behind and become even more irrelevant than we are now. IMO it would be almost impossible for the club to ever come back from. Thats why I think now is the right time to sell.

The stadium is mainly empty because of Red Bull. If someone else bought the team, invested in the roster and marketed well, the stadium would be a lot more full.
