Here it goes...

Rites of Spring - End on End ::: Really excellent late 80s Dischord hardcore. More like Fugazi than Minor Threat. Amazing band, all these emocore weiners today have no idea what they're missing.
Fu Manchu - ... No One Rides for Free ::: Mid-90s California psychedelic/heavy rock. Most of the songs are about cars and drag racing. It was originally released on "Bong Load" records which just about says it all.
Dead Meadow - Got Live if you Want it ::: Live recordings of my favorite band ever as compiled by Anton Newcombe (of Brian Jonestown Massacre fame). Loud, slow and heavy... just how I like it, baby!
Cheap Suit Special - s/t ::: I got this in a book of Robert Crumb drawings. I had no idea he played banjo but he does a pretty damn good job of it. Mid-20s americana and all that good stuff. Very Crumb and very good.
Television - Marquee Moon ::: There's nothing I could say about this record that hasn't been said before. If you consider yourself someone who enjoys music and don't own this record I would suggest you run, don't walk, to the nearest record store and buy a copy. Your ears will thank you.
The Bonzo Dog Band - The Beastality of the Bonzo Dog Band ::: Uhh, I dunno... I got hooked on this on tour. It's pretty much absurd/hilarious tunes with all kinds of goofy music and lyric subject matter. Humor very much in the vein of Frank Zappa - I highly reccomend this.
Jerry's Kids - Is this my world? ::: Ok, I generally hate Boston. Their stupid accents, the Red Sox and especially Boston hardcore. This record (and possibly DYS) are exceptions to that rule. Brutally fast early 80s hardcore. A true classic.

That's all I can remember right now.
:::democracy is not a happy idealistic society were everything is free hugs and freebasing coke in stairwells while police watch (that happens in frankfurt germany). it has it's ups and downs like everything. - WB05 Brandon:::

jawbreaker, constantly.

Thank you Ben. I can't wait for springtime when we can start listening to the blues in outdoor markets.

I would say "Fergie: London Bridge" ... but my stereo just broke, so I guess "nothing" is more correct.

Woody Githrie-This Land is Your Land (Including the verse they didn't teach us in grade school)
Senor Coconut-Autobahn
Kristy MacColl-In These Shoes
Motorhead-Dogs of War
Dale Watson-That's Country, My Ass

And lately, in a viein sorta similar to Ennio Marricone, anything by Lalo Schifrin: Cool Hand Luke, Mannix, Mission Impossible, Mod Squad, Kelly's Heroes and especially the soundtrack from Buillitt. Really cool composer. Gets my vote for principal deity of 60's & 70's soundtracks. And can't forget theme from Alfred Hitchock.
