This guy early 00s nbas

I knew the wife of a sportswriter back then.
She called him Patricia!

Half-court Knicks. Team would have to wait for Ewing to plod down the court to the top of the key, where he would get his mandatory touch of the ball. Then, he would either pass it off or try to make the whole play himself.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

But yo, if we win 3-0 and plow through the rest of the competition in CCL and win that trophy...they can make a statue of the entire XI and all the subs used over the 2 legged final. that would be the shit.

If we win the CCL I will make it my life's work to get a 20 foot tall statue of Connor Lade.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

It's a shame... So many great sports stars that BWP is going to join.  Lundquist, Ewing, Mattingly, it's just a shame.  The argument could be made for all of them that they didn't have the horses around them, but I'd probably say BWP has had the best team around him.  Ewing never got a legitimate other player even as much as I loved some of those guys on that team.  Mattingly definitely not, and Hank had an pretty good team, just not great.

YES - place the statue just a little to the outside of the entrance

sorry just kidding - love BWP

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

The chances missed in the Santos and Chivas CCL games are vintage John Starks vs the Houston Rockets! At least Starks went 2-18 in that terrible game he had!!! Or would it be better served for a Charles Smith reference?

Also, the Mattingly thing. Was my favorite player after Reggie. RBNY lacks a Reggie, aka "The Straw That Should've Been Acquired to Stir The Energy Drink". Instead, seems like we got a "Pat Kelly/Steve Sax throwing to 1st base" moment in some of the bigger non-MLS matches.

Feel free to insert NYRanger related stuff, so that we possess another angle in which we can laugh the pain away some more...

Yeah this is just wrong, they had 3 years with really awesome teams and just couldn't get the job done. 2012/2014/2015. There's no way you can call those teams not great. Lost in the finals in 14. They made the conference finals in 12 and 15 and 15 they won the president's trophy and lost game 7 in the conference finals at home.

Hell, 2012 was the year they would have probably won the cup if they got past the Devils. There's no way that Kings team was beating them that year.

Don't want to make it a hockey discussion but I disagree. They had very good teams, but Hank was what put them to the very good mark, just like Ewing.  But they were never the best roster.

Either way the main point is the same.  The significant player couldn't quite get it done when it mattered most and it sucks.

if there was better finishing from the position, there'd be multiple statues outside the ground.

I tweeted this last night, but it's not an epic RBNY knockout round loss without a BWP missed sitter.

It's almost a given at this point.

He's a club legend but my god was he inconsequential last night.
