Reading the "Marsch playoff failure" thread, one comment stuck out to me:

I think GmBH wants a company man who plays by the rules and greases the right palms. If he does that and produces average or above results, he stays.

I've been trying to come up with a sarcastic/mean nickname for Marsch after his successful coup. I was struggling to think of something clever until I starting watching season 2 of Man in the High Castle this past week when it hit me:

Jesse is our Tom Smith! Think about it: he's the energetic, dedicated, hardworking, honest all-American representative of an evil foreign (German) regime. The comparison fits Marsch to a "T".

For example, during the offseason he had a private "chat" with Ali:

He's fiercely loyal to his Fuhrer:

He flies to Europe bi-annually to report to headquarters:

The media day press conference that he attended alone, leaving a seat conspicuously open next to him, felt a lot like:

I love it! I'm looking forward to a season of Nazi jokes and photoshopping swastikas on pictures of Marsch.
