don't know how anyone could possibly not be rooting for us to get into CCL ... and potentially win

I lost you at the last two words. Anyway:

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Don't think i really could stand a season of people deep throating Atlanta's dick if they win.

No one thought of scheduling the draw until after the 16th team was decided?

They probably expected Portland to lose.
Have to admit that, when I first saw the headline, I misread clarifies as confirms!

It doesn't really matter anyway, since they're basically just drawing the slots. They could've done this draw the moment that the final whistle blew in the Concacaf League final.

Gio was a superstar for us. Blank is a NYC guy, went to same hs but did not know him. The big thing to note is that offenses of both teams are not usmnt eligible. MLS has not developed offensive talent for usmnt.

So, no truth to the rumor that you beat him at chess so many times, that he moved to Atlanta and opened a small hardware store?

It would be easy to say Portland right now, but when CCL comes around and we are not in it, I know I would be changing my tune

No one.. Not even watching... I don't know whether to give the guys credit or be pissed for not losing their shit and just walking off the pitch after the second questionable annulment of series changing goal..
I would have thrown at least one punch.. Or punted the ball into the stands and thrown my jersey at the ref and just walked off of the pitch
I just want Metro to win a title sometime in my lifetime.

You OK with fans littering the pitch with bottles and cans?

Gio was the first Metro Legend.

But I want to be in CCL.

I don't root for other teams. I do hope it's at least a good game.

Atlanta solely for CCL reasons. Not a chance in hell I'll be watching.

I wont be hoping for Portland to win, I wil be hoping for ATL to lose.  DGAF about Champions league; its just a distraction and not something we have a chance to win.     Plus, I'd hate to see those diving d-bags and their ignorant, never-suffering fans win.     I want them up by 4 in the first half, and still lose.

Depending on the result of MLS Cup, either Portland or us will play Atletico Pantoja of the Dominican Republic in the first round.

That's a borderline automatic quarterfinal spot.

I'm rooting for Atlanta.
