With all of the anxiety that seems to be floating around, what is the current feeling for the bus trip to DC?
Will it still occur?
Are those that were previously going now having second thoughts?
What colors should we be wearing?

I don't want to discuss Metros history or MetroStars players.
This thread is for the Bus Trip down to DC. I am curious to hear the reactions. I want to know who is in and who is out. I want to know if Corey will still setup the trip or not.
There are plenty of threads to discuss the rest. Keep it out of this one.
Thanks,
P

We'll need an "all hands on deck" turn out if we want the new organization to take the ESC seriously.

Bottom line, last year, when we had an important road game during the playoff run to DC, a total of 9 people were on the ESC bus. There were 2 people in the section from Florida there for fuck's sake. For all the people that bitch and moan on here about what the Metro or the league owes them, the last few years have been dismal in terms of numbers bellying up to the bar.
Get on this road trip people.

That's the beauty of the road trip. No money goes to Red Bull, and you get to DC hate. So please do this one, and I won't say a peep about you staying home for the rest of the year.you're gonna support 'red bull new york',
i still hate DC

Please do. In my heart of hearts, I think it would be great to have the biggest ESC turnout of the year be on the road. A big "fuck you" to the deal.hmmm... good point, good point. i'll think about it.

There has been a hold up due to DC not getting back to us on ticket location & pricing, etc, but we are planning to do it. It will be advertised at the membership drive, it will be sent out in e-mails. We just need to confirm the details.
And Joe was right: if you wanted to make one last stand, you can do so by giving your money to AEG (via DC's ticket office) one last time, and go out with a bang screaming at DC for 90 minutes. No real downside there.
But, to each his own. If people have ethical issues with following the team, so be it. No one is here to tell ya what to think, you have to show up or not on terms that make sense to you.
That said, we hope to fill the bus. All are welcome.

Anyway, BUMP. This is important people. You can bitch and moan here all you want, but it's trips like this where you earn your stripes.
Get on the bus. Or be like Billy Walsh.
