I am a little surprised that they were not one of the clubs that opted out and I also give the club credit for hosting all home games at RBA, rather than MSU. Its obviously more expensive, but it is safer.

Now, back to RB bashing.

Honestly they may as well let in the 150 or so fans that usually come to the RBII games at RBA because I'm thinking social distancing wouldn't be an issue and you wouldn't need to have more than a person or two to work the gate and temp screen as an added precaution. Hell have everyone go into the upper deck so they are nowhere near the pitch.

My post was formulated as a yes or no question, didn't see an answer, not surprised.

To your question, no, health-wise it was not advisable, but I'm guessing that explaining why protests happened anyway to you would be pointless.

Your last part showed you have zero interest in anything resembling a good faith argument so wasting my time further with you is pointless.

What is your suggested alternative to "allowing demonstrations", abolishing the first amendment and jailing everybody?

They shut down houses of worship so they weren't really respecting the first amendment during all this to begin with. Do you think a gathering of tens of thousands of people in the middle of a pandemic is advisable?

When you have a non insignificant portion of the population who believes wearing masks is "useless" or "a political thing" and actively refuses to wear them...I doubt that cases will decline to the point necessary to restart the season in earnest.

The government officials who allowed mass demonstrations over the past few weeks have nobody to blame but themselves for that. They forfeited every bit of credibility they had by doing that because people saw this while being told if they go to a park they will go to jail and could clearly see the contradiction.
