looks like in the video, he was central more than on the right side of the backline. Maybe he can do both for us? plus, he's a 6 footer. having some add'l height at outside back is a bonus. would be nice that he can be cover both inside and out.

He was on the bench for both of their hex games.
He played in their meaningless final group game, a 3-1 loss to Costa Rica.

We could certainly use that kind of flexibility with all the injuries our backline is susceptible to.
Fuck the right wing.
Watched the video and he does have some qualities to like. THe versatility is very much like what Duvall was but he's more athletic than Duvall.
Even though he's playing centerback in the video, he shows plenty of speed and athleticism for right back. Also shows toughness too and that's always important from any defender.
Hopefully he's good because he's going to get plenty of minutes between all of these competitions.
DENIS HAMLETT IS ALREADY HARD AT WORK, FAM.

According to that twitter post, it's a 1-year loan.
Worth noting every MLS loan, per league policy, comes with an option to buy.
I thought they got rid of that a few seasons ago.

As a part of MLS rules, each team is allowed two players on loan with no option to buy, meaning that it is a loan and only a loan and that the player will return back to the original club at the end of the deal. MLS doesn’t want to become a league where players go on loan from bigger teams around the world, essentially becoming a feeder league. So they want as many loan options as possible to become permanent. But they allow for two loans each year, per team, that are loans in the purest meaning of the word.
