In Topic: Pro/rel, again

I believe that there'll be an MLS1 and MLS2, with pro/rel in between.

Also, I believe that USL will have 3 divs. with MLS reserve sides involved still.

I think that will happen eventually, but it will be a hard sell in the near future...'what do you mean my team might be in the 2nd division in a couple of years?  I just paid a $200 million franchise fee!'

I think its just a temp thing for them being in the West, and they'll be in the east or (southeast if we go to 4 conferences) soon enough.

This makes sense: the next 3 teams to join will be Austin, Sacramento and St. Louis, so they can put St. Louis in the East and put Nashville back in.  (Or maybe Minnesota goes into the East so St. Louis can have a rivalry with KC...)

I wonder if they want to keep Nashville and Columbus in different conferences since they have the same color scheme.

Cahill gave Kimura quite the brush off, after the goal.

Didn't he usually do that boxing the flag thing?  It looks like he was making a bee line for it when Henry got on him.

dunno, as much as i don't like any of these teams, as a neutral, it's fun to watch teams that spend.

I have to have at least some rooting angle, those are 4 teams I basically dislike and don't want to see win at all.

It's like if the NFL comes down to the Pats vs. Steelers and Dallas vs. Washington.

Except in this case there are dozens of other soccer games going on during the MLS playoffs, no need for me to carve out time for that.

Oh well, LAFC got this one, so it's down to LAFC, Seattle, TFC and Atlanta.

I've got no interest in watching any more of that, so I guess it's 'see you next year, MLS.'
