didnt know where to put this, but on univision today on the sports section they had a brief mention of the redbulls, saying that honduran Maynor suazo was training with the team. i tried to look up anything on suazo linking him to us but found noting, have any of you guys heard any news linking him to us?

from reading his wiki it seems he used to play for red bull salzburg at one point, but currently plays in turkey. He is david suazos cousin lol

Wow that headbutt was pretty bad. He didn't even make it look like an accident. He would of gotten a 6 match ban in MLS + fine for that one. We need more muscle on this team. Sign him up!

Lets look at that comment Soler made about the CAM he's looking for... someone who might be hard to find, but he could use his connections to get. Check.

That vid clip certainly looked like a midfield attack to me.

Not in the "generating offense" sense.

Looked like Suazo took a page from Chuck Cecil's playbook.

A bit worried about signing a 30 year old with a knee injury, but having more bite on the team is good. I don't assume he is the answer by himself, but you could see him playing a role. It isn't enough, but we would have Stammler/Ubi/Tchani as cover should his knee prove troublesome, which isn't great but it is some depth at least. I'm getting the feeling there might not be enough attacking out of our midfield of he is all we end up putting in there, but I agree with Soler that we need someone to be the calming presence in midfield and then our attack comes on the wings with Lindpere, Da Luz, Richards, etc.

Cautious thumbs up, but let's see how much and how long we're paying him. Better not be over Pietrovallo money.

I want him signed just for the possibility of a "Suazo Metro" song to the tune of "Suavemente".
Pure gold.
