We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Team looks a little out classed in terms of the defense and central midfield. Both CMs aren't ball winners at all.

The closest thing McGlynn has to a connection to Red Bull is that both he and his brother's first pro goals came against NYRBII.

I watched until it was 3-0, which was a few minutes before halftime.

Suffice it to say, the USA did not look good.  There was clearly a difference in skill level between the US and Brazil.  The Brazilians' touches were better and they were much smoother with the ball.  You can chalk some of the poor performance up to  a team that was just put together less than a week earlier, with a brand new coach.  But Brazil was also just a better team, at least in the first 42 minutes or so.

Clark was a non-factor in the first half, which was actually better than a lot of his teammates who were poor.  He was up top as a forward, and saw very little of the ball as Brazil dominated play.  It looked to me like he started to drop back into the midfield to get the ball around the 35th minute or so.  The USA did generate a few half chances, and one play in particular looked like a possible penalty for the USA, except our guy was called offsides (which looked like a bad call when the replay was shown).

if anyone was able to watch the game how did Edelman look?  I like him but have questions about if he is athletic enough to be an impact player in the future

Edelman looked like a solid player. Nice to see him outside the II's.

Caden Clark had our goal and JPA's son, Tomas Angel, scored for Colombia on the last chance of the match.

Apparently the Colombia goal was scored by the son of JPA
