#1366832 Parker has not been good this year

Posted by RB-NJ on Yesterday, 07:33 PM

How does Armas deal with this, publicly & privately?
Any public expressions of frustration or disappointment?
Drop him from the next gameday roster?
He had the 4th highest base salary last year @ $738K,
$250K more than Luis Robles.

I think publicly, just like Armas has. "We need to rotate, lots of games in a short period". I think privately Parker just needs to know he isn't playing up to his contract, isn't playing his way into the starting XI and you keep giving him small opportunities to prove himself and build confidence. I don't blame Armas for throwing him out there with 7 minutes left.  738k CB having to lock down for only 7 minutes, this should be easy. But he fumbled it bad. Still, I use him as a sub against Cbus but I don't start him until he looks like the Parker of old.

Past performance doesnt indicate future success. He wasnt good last year, got beaten out in practice by Tarek it seems, then performed terribly yesterday while Tarek was good. I dont think that deserves a start. When Parker comes on as a sub and gives good minutes, then he can start.

#1360189 Danish GK David Jensen, English RB Mandela Egbo

I understand why there is so much whining about picking up a GK... but Meara hasn't played in forever and obviously the staff has seen him in preseason and practice a ton. If they are signing a GK (and been linked to others), then they probably know something every FIFA player in this forum may not. They weren't comfortable with him being the only GK on this team.

When it comes to Egbo, I have no idea and can't even begin to speculate about a guy in lower leagues like that. I like that it fills a position of need though. The same people on here saying his stats in a league they know 0 about are the people who drooled over Jorgenson videos that they also knew nothing about.

2 signings, great! I'll judge them when I see them on the field, hope they can play at a high level.

#1358602 Interim head athletic trainer leaves

How should this club have handled its trainer making a personal decision to join a new team? Chained him to the gym door lol? This forum.

Totally right. This forum will complain about anything. Team has made the playoffs 10 years in a row, including every year they have been owned by RB except 1. And people on here wishing someone else owned the club. People legit arguing MLS should come in and take the ownership from RB... one of the most successful ownership groups in MLS history. People complaining Hamlett has no idea what he's doing, then beginning for the team to resign Sims, the guy he brought in last year.

I'm not happy with last season, and I'm frustrated at the lack of signings so far but the season is also 2 months away and the club is being linked to a bunch of guys now. Complain all you want in March, crying about a trainer absolutely no one on here knows about in Jan... yikes.
