Qatar has a strong, strong bid. Aussilandia the same.

I swear to ****ing GAWD that if South Korea or Japan get it, Imma git ef'nic on FIFA's ass. C'caf was supposed to get 2018, but we pulled out so as not to hurt Euro's feelings.

One thing from the presentations of Qatar, Oz and So. Korea (I didn't bother watching Yappan), more than likely a Asia will get the Cup every 3rd time. The rotation should be:

1. Europe
2. Africa/C'bol/C'caf
3. Asia/Oceania (Oz)

Asia is *massive* and will only get more massiver.

They're going for the whole "international", cosmopolitan theme. Oh, and the dude's French was impeccable, which no doubt scores well w/ any Francophone voter. And I'm being dead serious. And the fact that the Qatar committee knew that just proves how cosmopolitan their bid is.

One thing that the US presentation did not point to yesterday but they did highlight in supporting documents is the enormous success that the Confederations Cup would be. No other host can point to the profitability of the WC and the CC.

Per Twitter: The head of Qatar's bid, brother of crown prince, tells Al Jazeera "Congratulations Qatar. We have won."

Al Jezeera TV is reporting Qatar had won for 2022

Man, I hate FIFA. Even if we get it - they've had years to make this decision and they're running late?
