"Since the outset, we felt that operationally it would be impossible to effectively manage baseball operations having the parking lots that surround the stadium under separate ownership," said the letter, which was dated Feb. 17. "We believed that during the bid process that we would have the opportunity to buy the lots. It has not been made clear to us by Mr. McCourt that the lots are not and will not be for sale."
A source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPNLosAngeles.com that Caruso pulled out because of owner McCourt's refusal to include or negotiate the parking lots as part of the sale.

And that's all it was. There was not problem with the sample or the seals. He didn't follow the chain of custody protocol for timeliness. The Hebrew Hammer gets the 55 game ban reversed on a technicality.
I'm not sure why baseball doesn't use WADA standards other than "'Cause wur 'Murica, dammit", because sending samples via FedEx seems rather silly.
I wish I could say Braun's statement afterwards was silly. Instead, it was really troubling.
Justin, you just dodged a bullet. Keep your head down and get into the weightroom and work on your swing so that a massive drop in your stats doesn't confirm the drug test. Don't make yourself a martyr.

Anywho, Dodgers will easily be back in the top 3 in MLB attendance, again.
Still some issues with "surrounding land" ...
Dodgers TV deal ends this season, I can imagine a bidding war in the billions for the new TV rights

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which "unskilled people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it." The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

TV deal could be in the $4-5 Billion range.
There is a prominent catcher who has said he wants to play in LA
Ethier & Loney are free agents at the end of the season, I'm expecting them to have good seasons as they are playing for their next contracts.
Other free agents that the Dodgers are keeping a watch on Napoli, Cain, Hamels + others
If Dee Gordon has a .400 on base percentage this season they win the division. Could steal up to 60 bases, he's the x-factor.
If Dodgers are able to hold on till July(trade deadline) then look out.
Dodger Stadium, fan friendly, wonder what that will look like?
I'd assume Magic throws out the first pitch at the home opener, no brainer?
