The resurfacing of the rumor is nice but havent heard from the Swedish press that RBNY have contacted Norkopping again to revisit the deal.

Im hoping someone with access will ask Thelwell at the media availability on Monday.

And we still need a LB, mid and striker.

FML.

You MIGHT get 1 of those. With the roster crunch the only signing Id like to see at this point is a DP

Maybe not a veteran in the conventional sense, with this team, but a player who has performed at a high level as a professional.

Harper hasnt played much soccer this year so its difficult to know how well hes going to adjust despite the fact that he is well regarded with his status as a YNT player

Where are we ranked in total team spending for this upcoming season? Have to be last in the league, right?

Maybe not last but near the bottom. Probably last in average money spent per player with only Reyes and Harper requiring an immediate fee. Loan fees for Edwards and Fabio (+ purchase option)

Isn't the armband still a guaranteed ticket out next transfer window?

I bet its Long, but maybe Davis does a turnaround - seems like Struber has clear patterns he wants deployed. Not crazy that some guys that stagnated under Armas have a lightbulb moment.

With Davis its more that hes not a great fit for the role the team has pigeon holed him into the past 2 seasons. When he started getting minutes with the first team he was playing in a more attacking role either in that weird 3-3-3-1 or in central midfield.

He was moved back to pair with Adams after Felipe was traded and the partnership did well with Tyler flying all over the field wrecking everyones shit, made Seans job simple.

Last year again they only added more box to box guys so by default Sean was left playing as the deepest midfielder.

Carnell is the only guy from the old regime left so everyones going to get a fresh start with Struber.

Either way I cant picture Davis being successful playing as the 6 in the diamond with the intensity of play being ramped back up.
