I'm happily surprised at the result. Very good game all things considered. I feel much better after this one than I did after the LAG win. Kaku also looked decent and din't pout when he was subbed off. Cassares looked great. Really would like to see more of him and Omir.

They gave the Murillo goal to Nealis?

Yeah looks like it deflected off his head on the way in.

Shock lineup shock win
Very nervy good sub with Parker and dagger by Omir White
Happy for Murillo- hopefully this motivates him.
More casserres and Omir. Kid looks consistently good.
I want to see moreKaku and Omir together.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Add Nealis to the long list of NY defenders who have scored more goals than Roy Miller.

CCJ is a baller, he's the first CM on the team sheet if I'm Armas going forward.

He is also, remarkably, the teams leading scorer in MLS play.

(Tied with White, Royer, and Muyl--but I think he wins on the minutes played tie-breaker).

Etienne, casseres, ivan and Fernandez looked good.

I am still worried abt our defense. I think we need to do a better job marking.

Tarek is an enforcer. Guy his side is not afraid to take ppl out.

Yet another goal where Murillo is just standing around. Dude should never see the field again for this team. He is the worst of the worst in terms of the ballwatchers.

He giveth and he taketh away, I 'spose.

Very pleasantly surprising game. Some guys are definitely claiming their place as starters on this team.

Casseres has got to be in the first 11. Easier to do with a 3 man backline when we have an extra midfielder in there but I still would play him over Rzat for now in a 4-2-3-1.

We have to get Kaku going more hopefully this is a step in the right direction.

We gave up some big chances and were bailed out by Meara on a great save and by poor Dallas finishing on a play in particular in the second half. But with a backline with Tarek and Nealis in the middle of it can't say they did a bad job at all relative to expectations.

Ivan and Etienne bring some speed and the ability to take on defenders 1 vs 1 which we don't really see from Royer and Muyl. Would like to see them get more chances opposite Royer to bring more of a speed element.

Also must be added that the Univision announcing team is probably the worst of all the worst.

As American soccer fans we've suffered through some horrible broadcasts especially in the darker ages of the game in this country, safe to say they are the worst of the worst.

As of right now... I think rza is playing better than kaku. I would start him and have kaku come in as a sub.

On rewatch, White deserves more credit for that goal at the end. Showed really good patience and awareness to stay onside.

I have been a critic of Murillo this year But in my opinion,  that goal was on Nealis . I thought Murillo played a great game.

he had a mis-step here and there, but this was closer to the Murillo we want to see week in and week out.
