how do you clear the google and yahoo search bar?

Running Windows?

If you're running IE, go to Tools/Internet Options/Clear Forms.

That should do it, but you may want to do History or Cookies too.

For Firefox, do Tools/Clear Private Data.

I've never used any other browsers so aside from that I can't help.

shift + delete clears items out of a drop down box
