Just came across a fun stat for Tolkin - despite starting 27 games in MLS league play, he only gave up 10 fouls all season. Just for some context, Reyes ended the season with 75.

5 yellows on 10 fouls (maybe some yellows were for arguing?) That's some ratio.
Seriously, 10 fouls in a full season is amazing.

Especially for someone who's so good defensively.

Both ends of the spectrum covered!
Curious for defenders how this ranks for someone playing at least 2000 minutes
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

According to WhoScored.com only Andrew Brody of RSL had fewer fouls among fullbacks with more than 2,000 minutes played.

Team MVP for 2023. (Not sure if there will be an official announcement, but it's him.)
And somehow, he is not Defender of the Year... Nealis is.
