Henry also would want a say on style of play. Rbny would want the next coach to embrace pressing.
All "modern" managers in high demand embrace pressing. This would be less of a problem than the budget/final say on playing personnel that Henry would probably require.

He's still a better player than pretty much their whole roster.
I don't think there are too many teams in the MLS where Titi wouldn't be able to start even after 5 years out of the game.

Henry would definitely NOT be the lap dog that Armas is.

will be interesting for sure.
Love Henry as player competitior and person
As a coach - to be determined.
Wondering if he will Berhalter with an accent and attitude - trying to implement a system that cannot be played with available players and he is unable to fully explain.
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

If his achilles weren't about ready to explode by the end of his playing career he coulda have easily been a Zlatan type dude and played up until he was pushin 40. Just with progressively less running

henry would manage a style similar to Guardiola. A lot of short passing. Now will he succeed in implementing such style? Who knows.
The press is not a focal point for him. He has been quoted several times praising how Guardiola tactics is how soccer should be played

Yeah Henry sucked at Monaco, but I find it hard to believe he would be worse than Armas and same failed tactics Red Bull operates with now. Henry coming on board would help soothe the fan base a little.
I would at least have taken a punt on Henry rather than settling for Armas and yet another season of the 4-2-3-1 (which apparently everyone by now has figured out doesn't work with the players the team has, except for Armas and the inept people that run Red Bull).

Not sure if Montreals ex coach would be better option than Armas. His team abosuoutely bossed us. We crashed badly.
Twice; he whacked us 4:0 with Houston.

prob the same stuff he had against TFC. prob a bunch of fans mouthing off to him in French. here's a goal where after it's scored by Cahill, TH celebrated by talking shit to the fans behind that goal. might've done the same vs MTL at one point.

Agree on the short passing, but all Guardiola teams also press heavily. Disagree that it's not a focal point for him.henry would manage a style similar to Guardiola. A lot of short passing. Now will he succeed in implementing such style? Who knows.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
