If BWP brings both the MLS and USOC, just rename it BWP Arena

Henry > BWP, come on

I'll defer to my post from a year ago.

"Talent wise? Henry. Club importance? You can LEGITIMATELY make the case for BWP. Is it a coincidence the only trophies we have came during his few years here? Probably not. He's definitely not the most talented player ever here but I won't discount his status."

I have only been watching since 2011, so anything before then I can't truly comment on. Henry was on another world talent wise, but imagine we did not have BWP. Where would we be? He's the highest scoring player in the league since he arrived. Robles is also incredibly important too, can't imagine where we would be without him.

Henry changed the mentality of the franchise, from the top on down (although some fans are still mired in the muck). For that, he'll always be #1 (for me).

Similar to the Howard v Robles debate.  The other plus on Henry's side of the ledger is his mentoring of BWP.  Not sure BWP is where he is today without training with Henry.

I think they said today that BWP has 80 goals. (Regular season?) That's insane. Can he make it to 100?

If he hits 100 goals, there can be no more debate who is the greatest ever.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

This team has had better finishers (on far worse teams) but BWP is still a really special all time great metro. Intelligence, work rate, instincts, character, consistency, professionalism. And finishing!

80 goals in 128 regular season games. That's a pretty freaking good ratio.

Yes it is but Titi days it should've been 128/128

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Better finishers? Mathis had that run in 2000 and Angel in 2007, but chance-for-chance, those lineup evenly (if not below) with many, many BWP stretches.

I think he plays on the best teams in club history and gets good service. Is he really a better finisher than Henry and JPA? Not talking numbers, just pure finishing skills. If he was, with all his other excellent qualities, he would've never left Europe. Imagine if Henry or JPA played in BWPs spot for 3 years, how many would they have... Henry became playmaker because until Peggy he had nobody to set him up.

BWP is a great finisher, but perspective is all. I rate his many intangibles higher than his pure finishing.
