Beat Evergreen 10-1.

Goals from Marcelo Borges, Ethan Lochner, Jose Aguinaga, Fabio De Sousa, Zach Knudson had 4, and Brian White had a pair.

Team is now 9-1 on the year. Brian White has 13 goals in 10 games and Zach Knudson has 8 in the 9 games he played.

Sucks that neither is HGP eligible.

do they have what it takes to make it to the big game and have it hosted at home just like the NPSL 'Ship winning team?

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig and Celenio Eleazar.

For sure. Only challenge is that our division has the other best PDL team in Reading.

Won again last night, 5-1 over Jersey Express. Aguinaga with a hat trick and Knudson had the other two.

1-1 draw vs. Nor'Easters. Knudson with the goal.

Result moves us to 10-1-1 on the season and locks a playoff spot!
Reading United sits right behind us at 10-2.
We will likely play them in the first round (we will either be the 4th place Wild Card team or first place team). Reading will be the other spot. Sucks because RBNY and Reading are the two best teams in the PDL.

We have FA Euro and Evergreen FC (who we beat 10-1 a few weeks ago) to end the season. We currently sit #1 in the PDL power rankings of over 70 teams.

Likely Eastern Playoffs:
Red Bulls vs. Reading United
Myrtle Beach Mutiny vs. Seacoast United

Who have been consistently the better performers this season? Are they HGP eligible?

Who have been consistently the better performers this season? Are they HGP eligible?

Ben Lundgaard, our GK is ranked #2 in the PDL Prospects - not HGP eligible
Brian White, FWD is ranked #3 in the PDL Prospects - not HGP eligible
Zach Knudson and Markus Fjortoft, Fabio De Sousa and Jose Aguinaga all having great seasons but none are HGP eligble.

For HGPs - not a great year at this level: Michael Kapitula, Kevin Politz, Kyle Zajec, Ethan Lochner and Chris Lema have stood out as consistent but Lema just started playing a few weeks ago.

Our highly touted prospects played very little. Borges only played twice but was dominate both games. Deeds, Echeveria, Teixeira, Martin, Gilbey, and Dixon all played in less than half the games this year.

Thanks!  Why again are they not HGP eligible?

Wondering why they only played in limited games?  Coaching choice?

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

U23 is technically not part of the academy and that is when these guys joined the club.

There is talk that this may change in the future, which would allow for quite a few others to fall under the HGP umbrella.

Up over FA Euro 6-1 right now.
De Sousa, Bowkett, Stroud, and White with goals.

Oh... It's the 41st minute...

Update: 7-1 in the 54th. Mason Deeds finds the net.

Jake Areman in 60th. Now 8-1.

Final 8-2.

Team clinches first place in the conference with a win over Evergreen 4-1 to end the regular season. Brian White had a pair of goals and Bowkett and Chris Lema also found net.
