I think I've brought this up before but why don't we have a team hall of fame? It would just make all sorts of sense. Honor the teams history and create an annual event to draw a good gate. Can you imagine what it would be like to bring back Henry, JPA, Meola, Mathis ect. to be honored with a plaque at RBA and celebrated? It would be wonderful. You could even build a team hall of fame and museum in the ground level as a gameday attraction like the Mets have. It would cost the team so little but would mean so much to us fans.

It really is sad that you do more for this team than our owners or front office even come close to doing. Peter Bockman should be the next inductee!

They should just bring in a TV to project that site.

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

They did the 20/20 thing a few years ago. I thought that was a nice touch.

yeah, their names are in banners around the stadium and also there is a wall outside the Audi Club that has all of their names and pictures.

plus, they've added all sorts of historic moments to the girders around the stadium (first goal, first HGP, etc.) .  Nice stuff.

Do we have any new nominees coming? Cahill could be on the verge but I also feel like he's never going to retire. Same with Howard.

Good question... Not sure Cahill is a first-ballot Hall of Famer. Howard is one, of course, the second he retires. We probably want to avoid an empty class next year, so it would be among the likes of Mendes, Stammler, Jolley... Is Dane Richards still active?

Paul Grafer! Hey, until 2008 he was the only Metro keeper to win a playoff round.

No longer on the Miami FC roster page (though several ex-Metros are)

Dane is back in Jamaica. Presume he is retired.

He always did enjoy rehabbing in Jamaica...
