Nothing will beat that Arsenal game from years back.  Paid for my season tickets entirely.  Could have made more too.

Us flipping our tickets is why the USA lost, why we aren't in the World Cup, why Jozy Altidore got hurt in the first World Cup game in 2014 and why McDonalds won't sell the McRib year round.

That entire thing was an effing joke.  I was at that game and there were many more USA fans than was given credit for.  It's just that the damn team gave us ABSOLUTELY nothing to cheer for.   Them making excuses for it only helped the team not take responsibility and proceed to suck in future games.

Yeah no. I was at the game and we outnumbered the CR fans. It's just that we had nothing to cheer for after playing like crap the whole game.

Reality is that the crowd should have been 90% US fans, although that didnt help us in Columbus this cycle.
Since CR is also red, the crowd looked pro-US, until the first goal. Then 1/3 Ticos.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I got antsy and dropped the price on my Benfica/Juve tickets, which sold. At least I made a few bucks.

you never know.  maybe he'll travel and train with the team.  I wonder if they'll do an open practice session the day before...that would certainly be a hot ticket item.

ETA: last year, Juventus opened their regular season on August 19.  Assuming they open this year around the same time, then a friendly 3 weeks before the start of the season seems like a great time to start and play with your brand new team.  fingers crossed
