FIFA can't host 2 consecutive World Cups in the same Confederation. So China can try to buy 2026 or 2030 but those World Cups are not going to China. 2030 is the Centenial, hopefully FIFA does the right thing and takes that tournament back to where it all started, Uruguay. But it will more than likely be an Uruguay/Argentina hosted World Cup.

Not only can Uruguay not host for the reasons listed but they do not want to host. The only reason Brazil hosted was because FIFA was determined to have a South American World Cup. They opened the bidding and Brazil was the only country that said, "Ok, we'll do it."

A World Cup final on a Tuesday?!?!?

More than likely means a noon kick off on the east Coast.

Since we're all talking about different years, my birthday in 2027 falls on a Saturday. Should be a good time.

I retract my previous statement, was looking at December 2018.

Where did all the money do, that was thrown at FIFA to award the WC to Qatar?

Blood money buys freedom from accountability, and it seems that is the only type of freedom that really matters.

World Cup every 2 years?
https://www.bbc.com/...otball/57205872
Would confederations go to off years?
Follow suit to.bi-annual, like Gold Cup?

Luis Robles' new job is apparently selling tickets and travel packages to Qatar 2022.  Pretty cool.
