Sounds like Kendall McIntosh will be the backup keeper (maybe 3rd if you loan down one).

McIntosh is a name. Interesting pickup.
Is there any in this rout with authority to treat with me? Or indeed with wit to understand me?

McIntosh is a name. Interesting pickup.
Came through the SJ academy and was a USYNT player. He was the guy a class under Castano, IIRC.

At just 5' 11", he'll never make it in MLS.

he seemed even shorter at the Chelsea Piers event from a couple yrs ago. how many other MLS teams have short-ish keepers? start short-ish keepers? is RSL the only other?

So what are we looking at here regarding potential lineups?
And then you get the occasional appearance from a first team guy who needs minutes as well as the college/academy boys during the summer. Am I missing anyone?

Since when is Flemmings a centerback?
And why would we be playing a 4-4-2 when the first team plays a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-2-2-2?

Don't know where I got Flemmings as a CB from. As for the formation, I went with the standard 4-4-2 jsut for the sake of general positions. Pretty clear they'll be going with the 4-2-3-1 or empty bucket, but I didn't want to speculate on usage there.

flemmings is a goal scorer.
schmoll and plewa seem like starters at CB, unless someone from the 1st team gets the start.

Is there a list anywhere of the players signed on for this season? I only knew of Schmoll, Bonomo, and Williams. Upon further investigating there's also Plewa and Metzger, And we'll see whether Flemmings is first team or second team. Here's a more accurate portrayal based on updated info/fixing my mistakes. Again, not really taking formation into account.

Out of Schmoll, Carroll and Plewa, is there one who would be the clear favorite to step up the the big boy team, if needed?

There are officially 6 signings and unofficially a few others:
Signed: Diaz, Metzger, Plewa, Bonomo, Schmoll, and Speedy
Unofficially: McIntosh, Flemmings, Bilyeu, and Carroll
I have heard a few other names tossed around namely Sean Sheridan, Manolo Sanchez, and Noah Powder.
