At least we have several options at ST, even if nothing to write home about. What happens if Royer declines or gets hurt? Will Stroud be even MLS level?

Since I have no video I would imagine we have been doing this

Royer - White

Sims - Kaku

CCJ - Rza

Seagrist - Long - Parker - Duncan/Eg

Meara / Jensen

The Attacking mid depth would look like

Kaku

Sims

Muyl

Valot

Omir

Stroud

Mines

Yeah, provided that Valot doesn't suffer another long-term injury. 3rd yr in a row where they're gambling on Valot staying healthy. If healthy, Valot can play on either wing, or play centrally.

The following are reserve team guys on non-MLS contracts. Rito is definitely an int'l player.

Sowe

Elney

Lema

Zajec

Boateng

Kilwein

Rito

Like Valot, but after 2 years out, we can't count on him being anything more than replacement level. Would be a nice bonus if he contributes but I'd be surprised.

Seems about right based on yesterday. I'd like to see Sims get more starting action, but Valot looked good.

since our formation is fairly fluid anyway, i wonder how sims would do as one of the top 2 attackers in the 4-2-2-2.  his speed would give back lines problems, and he could pull out wide similar to timo werner at leipzig.

would be interesting

I would see it more as White and Kaku top 2 up front or even Omir (if they don't go with Royer, Barlow, J$)

2nd line 2 Valot and Sims

We may get to see that this weekend as we shall see with Kaku ankle.  found it surprising Kaku stayed in but maybe he wanted to run it off but rolled ankle just swelled too much

Unless 100% I would have Kaku take the week off and save the travel

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

I would definitely give this a try. White and Narlow were both ok at best, so why not throw your DP attacker out there and see if anything clicks. The concern would be his less than stellar track record scoring goals, but maybe that would be better here.

Agreed.  Would get our best 4 offensive players on the field at once.

I really don't hate White though.  I do think he'll factor in down the road more.

Interesting idea; essentially comes down to whos better white or valot.

Royer - Sims

Kaku - Valot

Davis - CCJ

Would be peak metro to finally go with two STs and neither be Strikers.
