Looks like Taxi is up to his old tricks. Absent from training at Anderlecht.

I dont blame him, his family situation must be tough. Dont think Murillo had family? As he didnt leave Belgium.

Last I heard he was coping with the loss of a relative and Anderlecht was letting him stay close to home. He was contemplating retirement as well.
Lots of reasons I wouldn't want him back, but I'd also be glad to see him return. That said, smaller than slim chance he would be with us if he returns to the league.

I doubt he would want to come back here.

I would be glad to see him return, but now that we spent on inferior performing Pendant, there is about 0 chance he is coming back. Maybe we could have just paid him more and kept him, but now that ship has sailed. Taxi was making $384, and Pendant is now at $334 plus Seagrist at $134. https://www.sportekz...ayers-salaries/
If he is coming back to MLS, it is to compete against us.

2020 salaries have not officially been announced, would say Jensen/Egbo/Pendant wages seem a bit questionable, as do Seagrist's and Lema's. Kaku is listed twice (also under Alejandro Gamarra). Wouldn't trust this website at this point. Hopefully we'll have legit info soon.I would be glad to see him return, but now that we spent on inferior performing Pendant, there is about 0 chance he is coming back. Although paying Seagrist twice the expected salary would be a fitting end to Hamlett's tenure here.

Taxi is a stud ... I wish him the best ...
I hope one day he chooses to come back
Current thoughts?
My concern is which Kemar would we get back?
Lock-down best defender in MLS?
Or surly, bitter, occasionally appearing?
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Agreed. If he was motivated and wanted to be here, Id be at the airport to welcome him back. Clearly hasnt worked out in Belgium, but is he willing to pull the plug on Europe that quickly? Would suck to see him play for another MLS side.

Kaku makes quite a bit more than Gamarra, now I see why he decided to change his name after all.
