Surprised Harraby didn't post this!

However, some pitch invasions turn out to be premature!

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

We rush the field.

Not an NJ tradition ...

Especially when you realize that there was a premature rush: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BA8IXVzOOIc

Red Bulls announce that Sunday's regular season finale vs. Chicago Fire is sold out. Should be an epic day no matter the result. #RBNY

The closer it gets, the more happy/nervous I get. All I can say is Go Chivas and go Philthy

I guess the Portland game has no real impact on the SS, since we already have to tie.

If Portland does win it does hurt our chances of making CCL next year though, I don't know if that is a big deal to anyone around here but I would love the notariety, extra games and team cash. Not to mention a chance to catch cheap games at Red Bull arena.

This is a true sellout.  only 262 tix on stubhub w minimum price $49.  I have never seen that before, if memory serves there are typically many, many more tix available even for games that end up with a more or less full arena, and at lower prices.

The SKC game to end the regular season last year comes to mind.   The arena was very nearly full, but tix were easy to get.  I dont remember if it was technically sold out or not.

FIRED UP.

Oddly, they are officially saying its sold out... but when you go to the site to buy a ticket, individual tickets are available... $73 for 108P, $28 for 201

As I understand it, the CCL spot travels down the table if the winning team makes the finals.

So, if we were to lose on Sunday, the more teams finish ahead of us in the standings, the worse our odds of getting the CCL spot by those teams making the finals. If we were to finish third behind Portland and RSL, we would have no chance because both of those teams cannot make the finals. If just RSL finish ahead of us, we could.

Got ya.  That works for me.

I hate Portland and that douche coach so rooting against them is nothing new for me.    Looking forward to Sunday, but just to protect ourselves I'm hoping that Philly manages a draw or win against KC.  THat ability to tie will be nice to have.  Especially considering the ref could just give us a red in the 30th minute and any chance at winning is gone.
