Marsch's Salzburg is so fun to watch. ... I wonder how much damage they could do in the Europa League.

Unless they beat Lokomotiv on 12/1,
RBS will finish 4th & not qualify for the EL.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

RBS control their own destiny...win at home against Atletico Madrid and they're through to the knockout round.  Tall task, but at least they have a shot.  If they lose or draw, they'll go through to Europa League as long as Lokomotiv Moscow doesn't win away at Bayern Munich.

RBL also control their own destiny...they go through with a win at home to Manchester United (or an unlikely combination of a draw + PSG losing at home to Istanbul Basaksehir).  They're guaranteed a spot in Europa League if they don't advance.

Really thought leipzig would do better. But after that idiotic mistake by sabitzer on goal #1, it all unraveled.

Today I'm picking Dortmund to win, despite their recent domestic form, and also Juve to win

Epic game between Juventus & Porto.
10-man Porto advance on away goals after ET.

I am surprised that CL and Europa allow "away" goals in ET.  So according to the CL rules, Porto had 120 minutes to score an away goal while Juventus, the seeded team, only had 90 minutes to score an away goal. Clearly unfair. ET should not count away goals imho.

This year's version of Leipzig reminds me of last year's metro: a lot of role players but a glaring need at striker. Can't believe they went through the whole season without a replacement for Werner.
