It would be nice if we avoid Saprissa and Vancouver in the group stages.

P.s. I hate the 3-team group stage, it's so silly.

there used to be a 4 team group stage, then two-legged matches to the cup. very tough for our confederation, considering travel, time zones.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

I understand why the format is in use, but it's just so out of place for a football competition.

I always thought it was a way to gin up interest in the knockout stages, by tilting the field so that MLS and Mexican sides can't eliminate one another in the group stage.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

It's entirely to save money IMO.

Anyway, an ideal draw gives us Belize/Nicaragua/Caribbean out of pot 1 and Guatemala/Honduras Progreso out of pot 2.  Arabe Unido probably won't be good in this tournament, but they're aggravating as hell to watch.

I hope we get Don Bosco FC and trick some folks from Bergen County into buying tix.

Underrated storyline: Will the team from Belize get to participate this year? Last year was the first in several where the team from Belize met CONCACAF standards in terms of facilities.

I can't wait to find out which Mexican team is going to destroy us. (If we get that far.)

Hey, maybe one of them fucks up in the group stage! Then all our troubles will be over for a couple of months.

Since my America, BICAMPEON of this tournament isn't going to play in the next one I'm all in on Metro. I don't give a fuck who is in our group. Just win. Be better than them when we need to and get out of the group.
