He was in the USMNT camp recently. Can't see him coming back for a USL contract. But absolutely the starter there on a loan basis to get back into the system.

He was in usmnt camp BEcause Klinsmann did not value mls players. He is closed to an usl nasl player then an mls player.

He can't get off the bench in the Mexican second division, but he'd turn his nose up at a USL contract? The guy is probably out of the game if he doesn't sign with us.

No chance. He has talent, he just isn't getting minutes. He was getting a decent amount of time or at least in the 18 for Xolos before the loan.
Since Dorados has about a dozen forwards and most are in on loan, playing time is scarce.

is he a second striker or can he play the 9? i only saw him against Reading Utd that one time at RBA. he was lined up alongside Peguy up top:

Moreno-Peguy

Lade-Juninho-Bustamante-Sam

Miller-Holgersson-Pearce-Barklage

Meara

That's a walk down Memory Lane...

Former Academy player, Mason Toye, just got a GenAdidas contract.

Played with the academy into 2016 then disconnected from the team drastically. Went to PDA, trialed overseas with Adam Najem, etc...

Not sure what happened, but there was apparently a fallout. Even his Indiana bio scrubs out all RBNY mentions, but states he trained with Orlando City B.

Well, safe to say we won't be drafting him then.

I'm always a fan of best player available because so few turn out to be good MLS players, but I especially like the idea of drafting outside backs in this league.  Happens to fit a need this year for us as well.  Outside of special players like Larin, I just don't think you're going to find offensive difference makers in the MLS draft.  Other positions are definitely doable though.  Just usually offensively skilled players are already cherry picked away.
