But anyway. I read that the Chairman of Relevent sports (the company that runs the "international champions Cup") is considering/open to have the Cosmos participate. That would be great for NY soccer, hope it happens....

well you remember it as bullshit, but after more or less 10 years Cosmos got back, and maybe the stadium will soon break ground....
BS as in Big Soccer, but that rendering of the stadium could certainly be considered bullshit, or at least comical. And yeah, the new stadium could break ground, but not any time soon and don't expect it look like the rendering the Cosmos put out there.

Officially, reports are Niko Kranjčar is only training with the Cosmos right now, but rumors are that he may actually sign for the club as well.
