Luis Robles just passed Dax for most games played in all competitions, 199.

This will be game #200.

Seattle will most likely play Sunday. The Seahawks playing at home on Sunday has nothing to do with the Sounders as they will be on the road for the first leg anyway.

True, forgot about that. One and done for MLS playoffs damnit. I did not realize Seattle was #2 for some reason.

Flounders have to play Sunday by default. There is no way MLS will allow teams to play a home and away series on 1 days rest with the "away" leg on Tuesday and the "home" leg on Thursday. That would be some ultimate Mickey Mouse League shit.

Best MLS regular season record ever, made it to the Final last year....

This is so scripted for Toronto to choke and lose in conference semifinals.

Felipe also broke the record for most minutes played in a single season tonight (all competitions). He will break the record for starts in a single season with a start in either leg against Toronto (currently stands at 41). He will tie the record for most games played in a single season with an appearance in both legs (Eric Alexander currently holds the record at 43).

Michael Bradly and Jozy let us ALL down by missing the World Cup. Screw these jerks, they dont deserve an MLS cup after wrecking the National team. I hope we destroy these assholes.

TV considerations, what else.

I think they are trying to compete with Monday Night Football.   :)

Which I get, but it's a sucky tv product when the stands are less than 50% full.

Team looks 100% better now that Royer is back. If he wasn't out for that stretch, I think we would have finished 2nd in the East.

I'm feeling confident about this series.

I don't understand why the schedules aren't immediately known.     Aren't these decisions made well in advance?

Probably attractiveness of options for TV pending results.

Sure, but there were just a handful of possible scenarios to plan for.

I'm not sure if ESPN or FS1 gets first dibs on choice but I think that is how it works?

If Atlanta wins, the ATL-NYCFC matchup will definitely be first choice for the networks with a game in ATL and 70k there. Also factor for NY-TOR that Toronto is a Canadian team so their fans wont be watching the U.S. broadcast.  If Columbus wins, NY-TOR might be the prime match up.
